IMAGES The following Creek Chub special order baits are known to collectors as "Specials". Most are catalog colors but NOT on the series shown here. As an example you will see a #934 Baby Pikie in Blue Flash. Although this color was made for many other series, especially saltwater baits, it is a Special on this series. The following lure images represent a tiny fraction of the known CCBCo Specials produced by this Indiana company from 1916-1978. |

Saltwater Pikie Special - Pikie pattern. It has a belly weight, thru-wire rigging & TWO trebles instead of the usual three trebles on a standard #700 series Pikie. Although this color is probably the most common pattern produced by Creek Chub, it is a Special on the #700 Saltwater series. |

Jointed Pikie Special - White w/ Glitter & Red Head. This pattern with luminous paint was a catalog color (#722) in the #700 Pikie Series only. This Jointed Pikie resembles that color except it's non-luminous. Located in the original Special box #2602. One reference book states this pattern also given the number #2640. |
