CCBCo CASTING PLUG
Used by anglers to practice their casting accuracy & those engaged in casting tournaments that were popular in the 1930’s-1940’s. This plug is white with a nickeled endplate. “C.C.B.CO. 5/8” is stenciled in green. Brass endplates are also known. These were presumably made during WWII when there was a shortage of the metal nickel. Eventually a 3/8 oz. plug was made. The later casting plugs have the marking gold imprinted instead of stenciled. Rubber examples were also produced.
